Route Breakdown — Where to Get Off

Understanding each loop is the fastest way to squeeze value from a HoHo pass.

Midtown Loop

  • Key stops: Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Empire State Building, Grand Central.
  • Best for: first-time visitors, shopping, museums (MoMA), and theater-goers.

Downtown Loop

  • Key stops: Wall Street, 9/11 Memorial, Battery Park, South Street Seaport.
  • Best for: history, skyline views, ferry access.

Brooklyn Loop (or Bridge Loop)

  • Key stops: DUMBO, Brooklyn Heights Promenade, Brooklyn Bridge Park.
  • Best for: skyline photos, walking the Brooklyn Bridge, food scenes.

Combining Loops Efficiently

  • Start Midtown early → ride to Uptown → transfer to Downtown loop at a central hub (operator-dependent).
  • If short on time, prioritize Downtown + Brooklyn for skyline and waterfront scenes.
